Types of POS Software
There are two primary types of POS Software: cloud-based and native. Cloud-based POS is different from native software in that the code rests on a remote server instead of being installed on the POS hardware. In addition, cloud-based software is more likely to come with useful features and fewer bugs. While native POS software is less expensive to start with, it is not as flexible as cloud-based software.
